Sally Crandall                                                            Storyteller

Sally's unique stories come from as near as her backyard and as far as across the globe.  They are full of energy, participation, and the unexpected.  Three programs are available for graders K-6: Over the Backyard Fence are stories from Ohio's present and come straight from Ohio soil.  Shoestring stories are from around the corner or across the globe, and "Spine Tinglers."  These stories are aimed at finding something out about yourself and those around you.  Sally draws students into the world of the imagination with the power of words.  Age level: K-6, Time: approx. 45 minutes, Availability: flexible with ample notice, Size: large or small groups (workshops also available) study guides.

Sally Crandall has 20 years of experience as a teacher and librarian, with an m.a.in library science. She is a winner of the Hock Hocking Liar's Contest. She is one of the winners named in the first National Storytelling Contest and was awarded one of two national scholarships to the National Storytelling Conference.  She is listed with Artists in the Schools and is on the board of Central Ohio Storytellers.
