Scott Cain                            Hammered and Appalachian Dulcimer

 

Scott takes his 30 years of experience working professionally in the music and entertainment industry and applies it to his own style of playing traditional and original Appalachian folk instruments and music with his performance of familiar favorites like "Country Roads","West Virginia Hills", and "Golden Slippers".  Invite Scott to share his expertise and talent with students grads K-6

Time: 45-60 minutes (tailored to your schedule); needs: one chair; availability: all school year; grades K-6.  Study guide.

Scott has worked professionally in the music and entertainment industry since 1977, playing in the Fife and Drum Corps at Walt Disney Wrold and working as a Disney Lighting Director and Sound Engineer.  His has been a Lighting Director for three television networks, and work as a free-lance videographer for 15 years. For the last 18 years, Scott has served as the Technical Director for the Smoot Theater in Parkersburg, WV.
